What is a demo?
As there are so many different types and brands of washable nappies on the market, it can be very difficult to choose which nappy system to buy. If making a purchase on the internet without the opportunity to look at and feel the nappies beforehand, you may find you have spent money on a system which is not ideal for you and your baby, and there is nobody to turn to for advice should you run into difficulties.

A Lollipop advisor who has used the different types of nappies can provide tailored advice to suit your circumstances and budget. The advisor will show you the leading brand washable nappies that Lollipop sell and talk you through the pros and cons of each type based on personal experience. Through discussion the advisor will help you narrow down the wide choice of nappies to one system, or possibly a ‘trial set’ of nappies to test before committing to a larger purchase.

A demo can either be booked individually or as a small group if you have friends who are also interested in cloth nappies! Demonstrations can be held in your own home if you prefer. All demonstrations are no obligation but it is preferred that you are committed to the possibility of using cloth nappies as advisors receive no payment for their time. The only payment that advisors receive is a small commission on the nappies they sell.

Should you decide to buy your nappies through a Lollipop advisor, you are also able to take advantage of the free follow on service of support and advice should any queries arise once you are using the nappies.

There is no minimum (or maximum!) order – you can purchase what you need when you require it, so you do not have to purchase the whole nappy system in one go if you don’t want to. This allows the financial cost of washable nappies to be spread over a period of time. Payment can also be made in installments if you have chosen your nappies well in advance of your baby’s arrival. Payment can be made by cash, cheque and, at the advisor’s discretion, bank transfer.

Orders generally arrive within a week so you can start using your nappies quickly. Items can either be collected from your advisor or delivered to you at home. Top-up supplies of nappy sanitizer and liners may be available from your advisor without the need to order. Please ask for details.
