What is a demo?
As there are so many different types and brands of washable nappies on the market, it can be very difficult to choose which nappy system to buy. If making a purchase on the internet without the opportunity to look at and feel the nappies beforehand, you may find you have spent money on a certain type of nappy which is not ideal for you and your baby, and there is nobody to turn to for advice should you run into difficulties.

I am a Lollipop advisor who has used the different types of nappies we sell, and I can provide tailored advice to suit your circumstances and budget. At a nappy demo I will show you the leading brand washable nappies that Lollipop sell and talk you through the pros and cons of each type based on my personal experience of using them. Through discussion with you, and plenty of time to feel the nappies I will help you narrow down the wide choice of nappies to one type or, in some cases, a ‘trial set’ of nappies to test before committing to a larger purchase.

A demo can either be booked individually or as a small group if you have friends who are also interested in cloth nappies! I am happy to visit you in the comfort of your own home if you live within a certain distance (I will travel to Redbourn, Markyate, Flamstead, Harpenden, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Berhamstead, Abbots Langley, Kings Langley and Watford). All demonstrations are no obligation but it is preferred that you are committed to the possibility of using cloth nappies as I receive no payment for my time or travelling expenses. The only payment that I receive is a small commission on the nappies I sell.

Should you decide to buy your nappies through me, you are also able to take advantage of the free follow on service of support and advice that I offer, should any queries arise once you are using the nappies. This help is available for the entire time you are using washable nappies, until your baby is potty trained, and can be invaluable.

There is no minimum (or maximum!) order – you can purchase what you need when you require it, so you do not have to purchase the whole nappy set in one go if you don’t want to. This allows the financial cost of washable nappies to be spread over a period of time. Payment can also be made in installments if you have chosen your nappies well in advance of your baby’s arrival. I accept payments by cash, cheque or bank transfer. Any payment will need to be cleared before your order can be delivered or collected.

Orders generally arrive within a week so you can start using your nappies quickly. Items can either be collected from my home address or delivered to you at home. Top-up supplies of nappy sanitiser and paper liners are generally available from me without the need to order.

Lollipop also sell swim nappies and some accessories such as slings and breastfeeding cushions. Current products can be viewed on the website at www.teamlollipop.co.uk and these are available to order through your advisor. There are other companies supplying baby and children's clothing and equipment, with which Lollipop is able to offer a small discount if the order is placed through an advisor.
